Linda Noonan
Linda Noonan
Linda Noonan: Philadelphia Delaware Valley Whether teaching Shakespeare to Zulu-speaking teenagers in Africa, doing any project with her young teen daughters involving glitter or creating the perfect wedding or blessing ceremony or memorial service, Linda approaches life with freshness, passion and respect.
She recently drove through thousands of miles through Africa where she took her teen daughters to meet their father’s relatives in a trip that was breathtaking and exhilarating. She captured the trip in photographs which she has exhibited locally in her Mt. Airy, Philadelphia neighborhood.
Linda has lived and worked in South Africa, loves “the road less traveled”, and has spent time in Mozambique, Honduras, Botswana, Norway and Kenya. An ordained minister, her work has included pastoring progressive churches, serving as chaplain in hospice and pediatric hospitals, teaching university and work in social change and advocacy.
Linda loves to listen to stories and create personal weddings, blessings and rituals which express people’s deepest dreams, hopes and love. Her Midwestern calm and reassuring presence fosters the intimate magic for ceremonies of all kinds.
